酒店建筑面积约17000平方米，由大堂、客房、餐饮、会议、康体五栋建筑环绕组成，坐落于江西省婺源县水墨上河景区内。景区位于婺源县城东部8公里处的秋口镇上河村，背倚青山，三面环水，形似大元宝，由与圣人朱熹同宗的朱氏建村，距今已有920多年历史。因古代进上河村必须过河，故称为上河村，又有上上临河之意，风水极佳，素有“天子宝地”之称。整体以“徽州的前世今生”为主题定位，以徽州文化体验为核心，以“纸、墨、笔、砚”为人文背景，复活了徽州古镇的原乡生活。

酒店项目顺应地理优势，以“八分半山一分田，半分水路和庄园”，山山水水都是“家”为设计宗旨，利用项目的地理优势，引入自然、人文信息，结合酒店定位，材料选择以环保可持续为主旨，营造独一无二的温馨氛围。

酒店整体风格围绕年轻旅客、家庭旅行为主的客户群。充分利用现有建筑条件，空间布局考虑力求通透、开阔，与室外景观相呼应。运用当地青石、麻、木、金属、砖等环保可持续的材质，既舒适健康又让客人感觉惬意放松，有个好心情。加入婺源当地艺术人文展示，提升整体文化内涵，满足客人精神层面的需求，同时也满足年轻住客的审美观，体现一种优雅、温馨、自然、轻松的氛围。
