项目背景：香山历史悠久,人文景观荟萃,八千年文脉传承,自古以来就是江南著名的风景旅游胜地和佛教圣地,集政治、军事、宗教、文化于一山。香山历史文化展示馆位于香山景区入口南侧，总建筑面积2057平方米。

设计理念：项目立足香山景区丰厚的人文底蕴，以寻香、探古、品风为主题思路，将“文物和史迹”、“知识和信息”融入故事情节之中，以山水、木、石材材质组合传达香山神韵，与古街景、石牌坊、雕塑、碑刻及仿古建筑元素搭配展示香山名俗，通过互动体验，巧妙运用“真实再现”的展示手法，引导参观者耳听、眼看、手动，让参观者身临其境感受颠覆传统展厅设计的“环境秀、文化故事秀、名俗秀”三场视觉大秀。打造学术性、知识性、文化性和休闲性多位一体的综合展示空间。

Xiangshan, with a long eight thousand year history and diversified cultural landscapes, has been a famous tourist destination in the Sothern Yangtze River area. The mountains have a combination of politics, religion, military and culture. Xiangshan Historical and Cultural Exhibition Center is located at the southern side of the scenic area entrance, and covers 2057 square meters.

It inspired by the prosperous foundations of the area, the exhibit fully integrates cultural relics and historical sites, combining knowledge and information into storylines. The Xiangshan verve is also expressed through mountains, trees and stone together with old street scenery, stone torii, sculpture, inscription, and replicas of ancient buildings, which showcase Xiangshan Folk Arts. The exhibition center, directs visitors to listen, look and get involved through representations of reality. This breaks the traditional exhibition method by introducing environment, culture, and folk art shows. Ultimately, the exhibit aims to construct an intellectual, knowledgeable, and relaxing space.
