設計說明 Design Interpenetration

该方案是针对一个旧建筑改造为生态展览中心的设计。改造前的空间视觉混乱，功能不明，缺乏导向性。为了解决这些问题以及体现生态环保的基本形象，设计中主要以做加法的形式进行设计，尽量避免对于原始结构的损害。
在大厅中央设置了一个大型橱窗，寓意珍宝大厅，将当地最具有代表性的生物标本和民俗物件放置里面，让人们在一进入大厅中间就感受到当地强烈的自然生态和历史人文的丰厚信息。

另外在材质上，充分发掘当地木材丰富的特质，以木质架构的形式进行室内表皮的包裹，形成视觉焦点，同时也是对于中央橱窗的突出和衬托。两种不同材质的使用明确的划分了空间的层次，形成了两个不同的层次关系。

折叠技法被使用在木构件上，形成更为丰富的视觉效果。打破了大面积单纯木构容易形成的单调形态。

Problem Solving: This is an atrium redesign of an old building showcasing ecological knowledge and raising people’s environmental awareness. Before the renovation, the space reflects a visually and functionally chaotic image which cannot show a clear direction. In order to solve such kind of problems and convey the ecological context, method of addition, which would help to retain the original structure,  was used with wood structure as the inner skin of the space. Additionally, wood was lavishly used due to the region’s great abundance of wood resources.

Two different kinds of materials of wood and stone were used to vividly divide the upper level and lower level of the space in which a clear arrangements was made from the original chaotic image of the space.

Folding technique was used to make the large scaled wood structure to be more visually impressive.
